mCLASS is an all-in-one system for Science of Reading-based universal screening, dyslexia screening, and progress monitoring. Students will be screened at the beginning, middle and end of the year. Results will be shared with parents once the testing window is completed.

Due to the abundance of street parking in your neighborhood, the district has made the decision to implement community stops for student pick-up and drop-off. This change will affect both morning and afternoon stops in the Carthage Colonies community and is effective immediately.

Here's what you can expect:
🔹 Transportation Info: Stop by the cafeteria to speak with your bus driver or pick up your car tags. Our transportation team will be there to assist you.
🔹 Classroom Visits: Head to your child’s classroom. Class lists for each grade level will be posted in the hallways to help you find your child's teacher.
🔹 Meet & Greet: Meet your child’s teacher and complete the PE card. Please turn in the card to the teacher before you leave.
🔹 Enrollment & Health: Our staff will be on hand to help with any enrollment questions, collect last-minute documents, answer medication questions, and provide the purple medication forms.

All 2024 Open Houses for Middle and High Schools have been postponed to August 12th. New time for Elementary Schools: Open House from 4-6p,
Middle Schools & Bragg Street will be from 5-6:30p,
High Schools will be open from 6-7:30 pm.
Note this is a change in time for JRI.
Due to the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Debby, Lee County Schools will make the following schedule changes:
Tramway Elementary School will shift to remote learning on Wednesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8. Teachers have provided assignments for students to complete from home.
Lee Early College will cancel the first day of classes scheduled for Thursday, August 8.
All school-related activities for students are canceled Wednesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8. Open Houses scheduled for this week are being moved to Monday, August 12. Specific times will be announced in a separate post.
Staff will operate on an optional workday on Wednesday, August 7 with an early release at 1pm and an optional REMOTE workday on Thursday, August 8.
Any decisions regarding Friday's schedule will be made on Thursday by noon.
