Mrs. LaBounty is working with students on Dudley Detective, sharpening their problem-solving skills and critical thinking. 🔍 Meanwhile, Mrs. Bryant's art students are creating unique paper sculptures that represent themselves. 🎨
Mr. Miller is preparing students for one of the many music concerts we’ll be hosting this year, filling our school with beautiful music! 🎶
We're also excited about a new partnership with Life Springs Church, offering a mentorship program for our 5th graders. 🙌
In our freshly renovated gym with brand-new floors, Mr. Ard is leading daily PE classes, keeping our students active and energized! 🏀 And in the library, Mrs. Parker is making sure students are checking out books and reading every night for at least 30 minutes. 📚

Bus 97 is back on the road and will be about 20 minutes late this morning.

Bus 97 Delay:
Attention families: Bus 97 is running late due to a downed tree blocking the road. Authorities and the bus garage have been contacted, and the bus will be back on its route as soon as possible. We will provide updates as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your patience!

LCS will operate on a 2-hour delay for students and staff on Tuesday, September 17. This delay will allow for additional daylight hours to ensure the safe travel of buses & provide extra time to make any necessary adjustments to our schedule should conditions change overnight.

Our young scientists in Mrs. Dakdouk's class are putting their observation skills to the test! Today, they're exploring what objects float or sink. 🔍 It's all about hands-on learning and discovery as they dive into the world of science! 🌟 #WildAboutLearning #STEM #FutureScientists

Big thanks to the Lee County High School JROTC seniors for coming out to J.R. Ingram to teach our 5th graders about flag etiquette! They did an amazing job showing our students how to properly raise, lower, and fold the flag of the United States. We’re excited to continue the tradition of having our 5th graders take on this important responsibility each day, and we know they’ll do an awesome job!

Mrs. Bryant, JRI Visual Arts Teacher, wanted to be sure to share that the Lee Regional Fair is accepting art work on September 7th and 8th. There are many categories for students and adults. Be sure to check out the fair website to learn more.

Bus 16 will be Bus 14 this week. Bus 16 is having work completed and students will be picked up and dropped off by Bus 14.

What a fantastic first week for our Kindergarteners! 🎉 They’ve already shown how eager they are to learn by going to specials and diving into their Heggerty lessons. We are so proud of their hard work and all the great things they've accomplished in just a few days! We can't wait to see everything they'll achieve this year. 🌟 #WildAboutLearning #KindergartenRocks #ProudEagles
