Last night at the Board of Education Meeting, LCS recognized the winner of the contest to design a new logo for the Lee County Solid Waste Department intended to raise awareness and promote the department's efforts in the areas of waste reduction and recycling. Congratulations to Aubrey R. from J.R. Ingram for being a leader in raising awareness and winning the contest to design the new logo which will be posted at the county's six convenience centers and on the Solid Waste Department's website.

Bus 16 will be delayed this morning due to mechanical issues. The bus garage is bringing a sub bus. When we have an approximate time of departure we will send another message.

Due to the weather forecast for rain on Friday we have moved the K-2 field day to tomorrow. Please plan accordingly and have you student dress appropriately

We couldn't be more proud of our 4th grade BoB team and how well they competed yesterday! We are already planning for next years competition. If your child is interested in competing on the 4th or 5th grade teams let us know! Mrs. Spivey and Mrs. Parker are our coaches and would love to share what it's all about!
