Attention 3rd, 4th and 5th grade Eagle Families,
Please remember that tomorrow is our first day of EOG testing. All 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will take the Reading EOG tomorrow. Help your child be prepared by
Making sure your child goes to bed at a reasonable time so he/she is well rested.
Keep your routine as normal as possible.
Be positive and confident in the fact that you know your child will do his/her best.
Plan ahead to avoid conflicts on the morning of the test.
The morning of the test:
Get up on time or a little early to avoid rushing and make sure your child arrives at school on time, by 8:00 am. Testing will be promptly at 8:15 am.
Have your child eat a nutritious breakfast at home or at school.
Be positive and encourage your child to do his/her best and to show what he/she knows.
Keep all smartwatches and cell phones at home! Other than permitted calculators, students are not allowed to have in their possession or to use cell phones or any other electronic devices at any time during testing, including breaks. Any student with a cell phone/electronic device during testing time must be dismissed from testing and a misadministration declared. The student possessing the device will be removed from testing and will have to retest on a different day. It is also possible that the entire class will be required to retest if a violation occurs.
