While we begin to get ready for the end of grade tests when we return from spring break, Mrs. Lee's third graders are teaching each other how to add and subtract with regrouping for two and three digit numbers.




Happy Assistant Principals Week! W.B. Wicker is very fortunate to have two of the best! We are so thankful for all Ms. Evans and Mrs. Brewer do for our students, staff and families on a daily basis. 💙

Happy Month of the Military Child to our very on 1LT Kent. Ms. Kent teaches 2nd grade at W.B. Wicker. This morning Ms. Kent wore her gear for her students to kick off our military spirit week! Tomorrow is Camouflage Day!


The West Lee Middle band visited and shared their talents with our 5th graders! We are so excited for our students to continue exploring music in middle school! Special thanks to Mr. Cain for bringing such an awesome group! 🎶🎺


On Wednesday, April 9th, the middle schools will be hosting an "Instrument Petting Zoo" for all rising 6th graders. Students can come and try out all of the instruments to see which one they are interested in! It will be from 5:30-7:00 in West Lee Middle's cafeteria.


Good evening Tiger Families! We are five days away from Spring Break! Can you feel it! We definitely can! This week is another busy week as we celebrate our military families with Military Appreciation Week! We will also have another Spirit Week to celebrate our military families! Kicking off Monday with Military Monday, which means we will wear clothing showing pride in your favorite branch of the military. On Tuesday, we will have our Autism Parent Night at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium. This is a rescheduled meeting that was changed due last week. On Wednesday, April 9th, our fourth graders will travel to the North Carolina Zoo for a field trip. On Thursday, April 10th, we will celebrate Filipino Day with a Day of Valor! On Friday, April 11th, our fifth graders will host a Career Fair for them to talk to community workers and learn what it takes to obtain various careers in society. We will also cheer on our students who will participate in the Special Olympics that will be held at Lee County High School. Just a reminder that we will be on Spring Break from April 14th until April 21st. Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 22nd. Also, please make sure that your child arrives to school before 7:55am. If you arrive after that time, you must come inside to sign your child in late. We look forward to seeing everyone bright and early in the morning! Have a great evening!

Around the world at WB Wicker! 🌎 💚This week, students explored traditional dance forms from Italy, Ireland, and Russia!




Tomorrow is the last day of our Autism Acceptance week! We can't wait to see everyone dress comfy for the day! We know its getting warm out, please make sure comfy clothes are inline with the LCS and WB Wicker Dress code!

Today our 5th grade students had the opportunity to tour the middle school they will attend next year. Students met administration, saw some classes, got information of extra curricular and had the opportunity to ask questions! We know their futures are bright!
