Attention AP/IB students:


JROTC ADVENTURE CAMP!!!!! Open to all rising freshmen & any LCHS students who would like to learn about JROTC curriculum and activities. August 5-7, 8-12 a.m., in the LCHS JROTC area. Participants will learn air rifle and archery skills, orienteering, rope bridge, and customs and courtesies to the flag. Transportation to & from will NOT be provided but snacks and water will. Please email dlynch.ls@lee.k12.nc.us to reserve your student's spot or if you would like more information.

Also last night at the BOE meeting, the appointment of Robert Newby to the position of Principal at Lee County High School was approved. Mr. Newby has demonstrated strong leadership in his tenure at East Lee Middle and we look forward to his work at his alma mater, LCHS.
