Please make sure your 10th grade Cavalier has had a good breakfast and arrives on time Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Remember that cell phones are NOT allowed in any statewide testing session (EOC, pre-ACT, WorkKeys...) All 10th graders will take the test. Students will need to pay attention to the room they are assigned to test in.

The State Board of Education is required by General Statute § 115C-174.22, to plan for and require the administration of the PreACT test to all public school students in tenth grade. The PreACT assessment measures what students have learned in their courses and helps educators identify the information that students still need to learn to succeed in college or a career. Your child is scheduled to take the PreACT via the online format on Tuesday 10/28/2025. The makeup test date is scheduled for Wednesday 10/29/2025.
