Transportation will be provided from Southern Lee to the Dennis Wicker Civic Center, however you must turn in the attached field trip form by April 23, 2025 (FIRM DEADLINE) Ask yany teacher for a permission form.


For all current Juniors: Save time and get your vaccines during Spring Break. Avoid the busy beginning of your Senior Year. Deadline is the 30th day of school, September 12, 2025. A second dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV) is required See your child's physician or the local health department to receive the meningococcal booster vaccine. Proof should be directed to our school nurse, Angie Licata, RN.


Mr. Purnsley's previous role as our Athletic Director has allowed him to really know students outside the classroom. Seen in the bus parking lot, he's often the first and last smile students see every day. We love his ability to inspire, relate and collaborate.

It's a Final Four matchup for the staff at Southern Lee. AUBURN: Shanna Roberts '91 and Stacy Nooning '92 are ready to yell War Eagle! Hey!!. FLORIDA: Bill Bivans (retired SLHS teacher and UF grad) and daughter Ruth Bivans are huge Gator fans. HOUSTON: Shara Appanaitis alum from U of H Clear Lake. DUKE: Patrice Hinkson is employed through Duke as our College Advisor. Who from the SEC will emerge the winner? Who's taking home to Wooden Award? Johni Broome or Cooper Flagg.


Former Southern Lee Cavalier & Coach Harrington's son Thomas Harrington will be making his MLB debut tonight at 7:05 PM for the Pittsburgh Pirates against the Tampa Bay Rays. He's come a long way from pitching at 2301 Tramway Road. May have followed his journey to Campbell University then AA and AAA baseball. A special shout out to the entire Harrington family who have been an integral support to Thomas's meteoritic rise.
