Attention Sophomores and their Parent/Guardian:
Your Cavalier will be receiving their scores for the PRE-ACT exam later this week.
Visit LCHS on Friday May 3rd from 6-8 pm for the LCHS vs SLHS Faculty Basketball Game. This exciting event is hosted by the National Technical Honor Society. The Cavaliers need you to fill up the stands, especially since this is a road game. Admission is $5.
There are only 19 attendance make up sessions left for the Spring 2024 Semester.
Please review your absences in PowerSchool daily and make plans to attend if you have more than 8 absences in any course.
It's back! The Southern Lee Plant Sale returns tomorrow from 10a-2p at the greenhouse behind the tennis courts. Students from Ms. Knowles horticulture classes have been working hard to have these beautiful plants ready for you and your home. See you tomorrow at SLHS!

Our area experiences a partial solar eclipse today from 1:57-4:28 pm. The maximum partial eclipse in Sanford is at 3:14 pm. A few reminders:
It is NEVER safe to look directly at the Sun. Looking at the Sun, even briefly, can cause permanent damage to your retinas and even blindness.
The only glasses which are safe for using are those labeled as ISO 12312-2 certified. Regular sunglasses, swimming goggles, smartphones, cameras, and telescopes are NOT safe for looking directly at the Sun.
Outdoor activities within LCS will be limited until after 4:30 p.m. Have fun and stay safe!
