hispanic heritage posters

Spanish classes worked diligently to make banners for Hispanic Heritage month. It was important that every student and country was represented.  Students created a banner for each of the following: South America, Central America, The Caribbean, Mexico, and Spain, that visually represented culture in those countries. Culture is the tapestry of shared beliefs, practices, languages, and traditions that define a group of people.

The students kept the colors of the flags in mind when creating the banners. Each one showcases everything from traditional clothing and music to famous landmarks and culinary delights. Together, these elements help students appreciate the shared heritage and distinct identities, fostering a deeper understanding and respect for the contributions of each culture. In the pictures you can see not only the banners they created but also the students who worked on them.
