To Be A Good Citizen

“I decided to help you men in the 11th and 12th grade to reach their fullest potential and graduate from high school.  I aim for them to be happy and enjoy their God given talent despite hearing negativity concerning this generation.”

Mr. McIver is always on the move.  From biking 30 miles or training for a triathlon, he’s never still.  After sitting on the bleachers of the Cavalier Courts, he realized he can make a difference to the players too.

"After watching a tennis match between Southern Lee and Terry Sanford boy’s tennis, coached by Vicki Wilkins.  I felt tat was aloft work for one person and decided to offer my expertise and talent to the team.  I was self-taught and played USTA Tennis for 12 years and reached as high as #4 in the state.

It has been an absolute pleasure and joy to teach these young ladies and gentlemen about strategy on the courts while learning life lessons off the courts.“

"Be humble.  Be kind.  Be you.  Be water.”

"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and they day you find out why." Mark Twain
