The new on campus cross country course will include a half mile segment that has been cut through the woods behind the football stadium in addition to trails around the pond. Thanks to the donation of equipment and labor by the caterpillar company trees have been removed and mulched to form the trail. Donations received from the booster club and the school athletic department as well as materials and labor by the Southern Lee construction classes will be used to complete the course. The course will have many viewing points where spectators can watch the runners during the race, a feature that is unique to our course.
