Go Rock It!

The East Lee Summer Bridge Program concluded with a burst of energy and excitement after a few fun-filled days dedicated to welcoming incoming 6th graders. The students had an incredible time getting acquainted with their new school environment, participating in interactive activities, and discussing the exciting journey ahead as they transition into middle school.

The program's theme, "Becoming a Rocket," truly resonated with the students, inspiring them to aim high and achieve great things. Through engaging sessions and hands-on experiences, the students not only learned about their new school but also built camaraderie and confidence, setting a positive tone for the upcoming school year.

The highlight of the event was a spectacular performance by the Lee County High School band and color guard team. Their lively and inspiring show captivated everyone, leaving students energized and motivated. The band and color guard members also shared personal stories and encouraged the new middle schoolers to get involved in extracurricular activities, emphasizing the importance of participation and community spirit.
