I guess you could say I was destined to be a Cav.  My husband taught at Southern in the CTE program and my two oldest sons attended and graduated from Southern.  My time has come to be a part of the Cav Nation.

Lee County has always been home to me.  I am a product of Lee County Schools, attending Deep River, East Lee, and Lee Senior.  I married my high school sweetheart, Duncan, and we have three wonderful sons, Davis, Walker, and Hudson. 

I attended Meredith College for my undergraduate studies, and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Campbell University for my Masters in Special Education and School Administration.  I have worked for Lee County Schools for the past 23 years.  I started as an EC teacher at Floyd Knight, then had the opportunity to serve as Assistant Principal at Deep River.  I was blessed to be named Principal of Deep River where I served for the last 14 years.  

I am honored to serve as Principal of Southern Lee High School.  I believe the Lord has blessed me with this opportunity to love on the students, staff and families of Southern Lee. I am a firm believer in family and school should be an extension of that experience.
