Dear Members of the Lee County Schools Community,

As we strive to create a supportive learning environment for our students, I am pleased to share some insights into the invaluable services offered by our Student Services Department of Lee County Schools. 

Our Student Services Department is composed of a dedicated team of professionals, including school counselors, social workers, mental health clinicians, an At-Risk Coordinator, Exceptional Children staff, and nurses. Together, we work to provide comprehensive support tailored to meet the diverse emotional, physical, developmental, behavioral, social, and instructional needs of our student population to ensure their holistic well-being. We understand that students may encounter various challenges throughout their educational journey that may impede their academic success and it is our mission to identify and proactively address these challenges, providing preventive care and support to remove barriers hindering our students' progress.

Through a collaborative approach involving schools, parents, and community partners, we strive to create positive school climates that foster an environment where students can thrive academically and personally. Together, we can create a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
