Kindergarten

Hello Dear Families,

I am Sara Pardo from Colombia. I have been teaching kindergarten during 17 years and this is my second year at Broadway.

Together, we are going to learn a new language, meet new friends and have many adventures.   I can't wait to meet you.

First Grade

I am a graduated teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Bilingual Preschool Education. I was born in Costa Rica, in the province of Alajuela, and lived there all my life until I moved to the United States. 

I have 11 years of experience teaching English to preschool and up to second grade levels. 

I really enjoy the beach, nature, healthy eating, physical exercise, and I try to transmit all these things I love to my students every day. 

I love the process of literacy; I enjoy teaching reading very much, and every day I am more amazed by the innate ability children have to learn. I see this even more now as I teach my native language to children who are being formed in both languages.

Second Grade 2024-25

I am from Central America, Honduras I have lived in a rural area close to El Progreso city. I have an 11 years old daughter.

I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Universidad Pedagogica *Francisco Morazan. Over the past eight years, I have been educationg children from preschool to 8th grade.

I love coffee, enjoy teaching, and take pleasure in eating healthy, planting, cooking, traveling and crafting. My favorite color is red.
